'00 EBP EM1 SLOW-Build from the Lone Star State!
That bra could have saved your hood, although it prolly would have been ruined the bra then... Otherwise clean whip
Have you used the trim paint for any plastic trims? (wiper cowl ex.)

Yea man, i might be interested just to keep them in my closet if the price is right. Shoot me a PM and we can discuss numbers
Thanks man!
Even with the bra on, it would have ruined the bra AND the hood for sure. No doubt about that. That thing hit the hood hard as hell. But no worries, the hood has since been taken care of (will post in later update)
And i have used it on lots of other pieces on different vehicles and have been VERY satisfied with the results. I plan on doing my wiper cowl because it looks faded and tired, i just have put it off since i ran out of trim paint and have been too lazy to go buy more lmao.

so i went and hit a few local junkyards, just browsing to see if i could find any cool ****.
came across these optional "exhaust finisher" pieces. The smaller one came from an 99-00 Civic EX (same muffler as the EM1 Si) and the larger one i puled off of an 01 Integra LS. They both have the same inner diameter, despite the integra one being larger outer diameter.
Integra

Top - Civic, Bottom - Integra

cleaned and polished up some
LEFT - Civic, RIGHT - Integra

Sandpaper, Mother's Mag Polish, and some elbow grease go a long way.
Integra

Also came across this badboy. Pretty sure it will buff out

cool little pamphlet i nabbed from the glovebox

ended up nabbing an OEM hood off of it to replace my dented up one. Clear was coming off some but it will be repainted anyways so no big deal. threw it on for a quick test fit

ordered new oem underhood stickers for when i get the hood painted.

EM1 emission decal. This had to be special ordered by my VIN through a Honda dealership. Here is the part number in case you guys want to order one without going through a dealership and prob save some money. They refused to give me a part number for it before hand.

Got tired of my dim interior lighting so i decided to do something about it.
BEFORE

new led bulbs to replace the old crappy ones

AFTER

I LOVE how it came out, so much more visibility. I was worried they were going to be ricer-blue, but they ended up having a very nice white color to them and lit up the interior soooo much better. Very good and cheap upgrade thats for sure.
Also decided to change the trunk bulb out while i was at it. HUGE difference.

Got bored on my day off so i decided to jack up my car and test fit my $25 OEM rear lip for ***** and giggles.

cant beat that OEM fitment, no eGAY junk around here.

With the rear mudguards on

Managed to find a good deal on some Si wheels for my little brothers coupe so we went and snagged em up.

and a week or 2 later. OEM hood bra, center caps, mudguards and threw on a front lip. Simple and clean
not too bad for a 16 year olds first car. Ive been sure to steer him away from doing any "ricer" **** to it haha.

Came home the next day to a package.

Package from the Netherlands, what could it be?

My OEM EDM LHD power adjust, manual folding mirrors!

Didnt want to deal with any visibility issues that come with RHD mirrors, and didnt want to have to wire up any power folding stuff (which i would never use) so i went with the plug-and-play option!

After trying to install the muffler tip that i had polished up, i realized my muffler piping was too small and would not work with the tip!
Come to find out, my car had at some point had the stock Si muffler replaced with one from a DX model which has much smaller diameter piping.
Went to the junkyard and grabbed a muffler from a 96-00 Civic EX Coupe (EXACT SAME MUFFLER AS THE 99-00 Civic Si) for $20
LEFT - EX/Si muffler................RIGHT - old DX muffler

old DX

EX/Si

random dirty undercarriage pic

INSTALLED! (larger Integra chrome tip installed)

got some good updates coming soon, stay tuned for more guys!

Surprised a junk yard even sold you that muffler. When I was in South Carolina they weren't allowed to sell any exhaust part due to emissions laws... California I would have expected that, but not SC. Good find though, looks to be in good shape.
BOOTY WARRIOR

In Texas, you just arent supposed to be able to buy used catalytic converters but all the places i go to are pretty lax about that kind of stuff (except corporate ones like Pick n' Pull, they are ******** lol). Just toss the esé at the desk a couple bucks at any other one and you can take whatever parts you can afford

All of my buddies ask me when im throwin an exhaust on it lmao, but ive decided im gonna keep it stock Si exhaust. I do a lot of driving so i love not having to hear a loud *** or droning exhaust, plus stock one doesnt draw any unwanted attention (mainly cops haha)
Buddy..........if you ever come by an RS-R exmag for any 92-00 civic/integra. I suggest you pick it up. Its not loud, its low and deep.
I kept mine, or actually I got it back, it bad conditon but it only needs the resonator pipe. I've looking around for a decent one and even reach out to apex but they refuse to sell it unless I spout out a serial # or model # from the muffler.

This is by far the best EBP SI build thread I've come across real inspirational
work, i don't own a SI but i did just get me a 100% bone stock 95 civic ex.
I would like to keep it stock like your SI something about stock cars just deserve
being left stock. Keep up the good work

Well, ive been crazy busy with moving to my new place/getting settled in and then putting in a lot of time at work so its been a little bit since my last update, so here it is!
Finally bit the bullet and contacted a buddy of mine who is a bodyshop manager at a local dealership to help me out with a few things.
Here she is with the front and rear bumpers removed. (i purchased another front and rear bumper and sent them to get painted since my original ones had some imperfections to them.) I figured i could use the original ones for spares if i decided to do any trackdays or whatever since they weren't in mint condition to begin with.

UPSKIRT

At her new home for a few days.

Talked things over with my buddy, and decided to:
- paint front and rear bumpers, hood, spare Si grill, OEM rear lip, EDM lhd power adjust/manual folding mirrors, front bumper plugs, random bolts
- repair and paint front lip, repair small dings and blend both fenders, and reclear passenger side door.
- buff and cut the entire car (including my extra wingless trunk)
I was gettin antsy not having my car, but he was kind enough to shoot me pics during the process.
now on to the pictures!

front lip

OEM lips all smoothed out and primered

ready for basecoat

glossyyyyy

Front end installed

rear bumper and lip installed (rest of car is filthy, hence the color not looking like it matches too well)

some cut and buff action

and the final result!
He did such an AMAZING JOB. I am VERY particular with work done to my car, but it came out better than i could have imagined! The color matches PERFECTLY and the finish is FLAWLESS.
I couldnt be happier.
