Finished turbo install and got tuning done
First tuned @ 10 psi 296hp / 201 wt
Then dialed it back a bit @ 8psi 276hp / 194 wt

Megan 4-1 Header, Magnaflow high flow cat, and Yonaka catback exhaust... It has been a long day.

 

Gave the Sol some much needed TLC

Shin-etsu'd the seals
Flushed PS w/ Honda PS fluid
Painted wiper arms
Cleaned the throttle body
Made a filler plate for that damn gap between the stereo and the center console

Test fitted the TE37's doe

 

After frying the brain of my old clifford alarm jumping the car I managed to find someone in Ontario that had the same 90's alarm unused in the box. They sold it to me for 75 CAD plus shipping and we did COD so there very little risk for either of us.

Anyways, after plugging the brain back in with the neg battery cable off and the ignition in the on (II) position we (my wife and I) noticed the passenger side door didn't set off the alarm nor prevent the auto arming when the door was ajar.

Today I tested the door switch to see if I still had 12 Volts going to the switch and it did. Swapped out the door switch (1 screw and 3 minutes of work) and I now have a secure, alarmed car again.

75 bucks to not have to dig into the wiring and just plug a new brain in sure saved me a ton of head ache.

 

Don't wanna upload pics, but i pulled the dash in order to put the hvac in, and make new brake lines. 94 coupe

 

After 3 years of trying to figure out a start issue, I am sending her too the dealership!

 

Ouch! That's a long time to struggle with an issue and get no where.

Replaced the drivers side regulator and finished the trunk latch replacement.
Removed the rear bumper cover and pulled out the hidden crunch damage.
Tomorrow: Repair the damage to the left rear light assembly.

 

I need me some Cadillac horns...

But it works.....people will finally see you in their blindspot.

 

I'm more looking into waking the dead when someone sets my alarm off.

 

Put an ls in an eg sedan... started knocking on the guys way home. His fresh "400 miles since rebuild motor, but it saw a lil boost" ls wasn't a good buy. Freaking sucks

Oohh...I have an idea....

 

Change all my brakes, bleed my brakes, change all 3 of my motor mounts, still need to get to my torque mounts but I need the bolts so off to a pull a part junker.

edit: will be doing my valve lash and checking my tps to make sure its dead on tomorrow morning.

I think I may have posted in here about changeing the fuel filter in my wife's 93 civic hatch.

Last night we did the gas trip and filled her up. Turns out her avg MPG is now 33 MPG instead of the 24 it typically was before the change.

I'm still skeptical but it seem just the fuel filter alone can have a dramatic impact on fuel economy.

And to think I just thought it was cuz it was an automatic....
