Not sure if anyone reads this anymore but I picked up a new project. Found a 96 GSR with 136k for $1500. Could not pass it up and now it's in my driveway as of 7 pm yesterday. Already bought an OEM exhaust, antenna, and front core support and placed my first order to Delray. Going to get her running and rolling 100% then I'll start doing the fun stuff. Already tossing around different paint ideas but I have no idea what I can replace the 'dream' with.

Not sure if I want to do another whole build thread. That takes a lot of work. I'll think it over.. On a related note, picked up a 96 spec ITR front today from a super rad guy in Dublin.

whoa back from the dead! I'll see what I have. it's completely torn down to a bare shell. I am really really slow haha

 

still building the gsr but wrecked my bike in Setember and got really messed up. I'm now working with one hand and a bad knee but I'm still trying to get something together by this summer or fall. I'll post some pictures some time..

No way, I'm done with bikes forever. I lost my left arm from the shoulder down due to a guardrail so I'm back into cars forever.

Wow man, that is one hell of an accident, I'm glad you survived it. I have known quite a few people who have passed away from bike accidents. I have always been hella scared of riding them myself. After seeing that pic I can assure you I never will. Good luck with the build man
