Something new to play with ...94 del sol
Well since my build up on my 97 ej6 hatch commuter got a little out of control and went from a commuter to a weekend fun car ...I decided I needed a new commuter ....traded my lowrider buick for this and he gave me 500.00 cash on top so I have a little spending money for improvements ...it's a 1994 del sol s model .... Decent car needs a few things but overall a good starter ...224k on chassis ...30k on rebuilt d15b7 ... Being the s model it's pretty stripped down ...this will mainly be an appreance build ...came with gsr blades with mismatched tires and a brand new set of coilovers ...still trying to figure out the brand though ... Guy said they where dc ?
First thing I did was raise it up ... Coil overs where dropped as low as they would go ... Rode like **** and scraped on everything
Then it was off to alignment

Next got a new windshield ...the original was cracked
Hated to look of the 1.5 exhaust tip but I wanted it quiet ... So I had my muffler shop guy just weld a nice tip on it ( will paint the muffler high heat black and give the tip a brushed finish in the next few days )

Nice craigslist score ... Red aem intake for 30.00
The seats where beat and for some reason the seat bottom on drivers side was different ... Another craigslist score ... Decent set of all black 97 sol seats
Also scored a good ashtray since mine was busted !

Had some bumper protectors from my civic I wasn't using ... Even though there not the correct size for the sol ... I put them on anyways ... IMHO they don't look half bad

Next plans are edm license panel with fog light , and 99 si front lip , header and a few other cosmetic upgrades !

Painted the muffler high heat black ... De-shined the tip ....also ordered a type r lip and mud flaps for it '

Threw the lip on , mud flaps , oil change , adjusted the top so it wouldn't rattle , wash & wax , touched up some paint

Yeah that's what to pevious owner told me ... Still haven't figured out what they are ? Black body , green coils , gold adjusters
