Prelude or Integra
this is actually a good question and one i would have a very hard time making a decision on...its just in the wrong place being in a Prelude section. just do your research and figure out what serves your needs more (B18, H22, H23, roominess, power, gas mileage, ect.) Either way, you cant go wrong with a Honda!
Itr or 4th gen prelude for sure. IMO I'd get the prelude, regardless of the fact that the parts are harder to find, I like to be unique. Not many preludes around in my area. You see integras left and right.
theres a up and down side to either chassis .. + integra parts are cheaper and easier to find - there are so many tegs out there hard to be diff ... + for prelude not as many people do prelude and where there done right there beast - for prelude parts are more expensive and harder to find ..
so its a matter of money and searching more if you build a prelude but you get to be a part of a much smaller tuner group ..
i own a prelude now . i love my prelude .. i love the fact that hardly anyone does a lot of good work to them .. there just not as many of them around .. people always check out my car when im out and about and it always puts a smile on my face ..

I've owned both. Both nice cars, was some time in between them, but they felt very similar. Prelude definitely feels bigger, but then it is. I had a '95 Integra SE and a '98 Prelude base, both leather. As far as out of the box, the prelude was much more of a beast, but that is all original and not modified.
One thing to conider, at least if your above 6 feet, is that the GSR has almost an inch extra of front headroom. This surprised me since the Prelude looks so much bigger. I wanted the lude but might go gsr because of this reason. The em1 is the worst in this department.

you'll be surprised
))Also, all my passengers are fond of front room amount.
OP is dead, nobody cares, shut this party down
Crazy, what's your broke *** doing in the prelude forum? Shew, back to the peasant civic forum and GDD where you belong.
What's better?? Hmmm let me see. Sure preludes are heavier but they actually have torque. I can climb mountain passes with ease in my 4th gen, smooth as silk. There is no loss of rpms like in a SOHC or lower displacement DOHC engines. The understeer can be annoying at times but you get used to it. I've driven an integra with a JDM engine swap and one with the stock b18. Stock was weak as a civic and the JDM one was gutless as hell till about 7k. Like you're going to drive around in a 40 mph zone revving up to 7k to make power and hitting vtec. Integras are lighter obviously. I think they're both great cars. I just prefer an engine that makes over 130 ft/lb torque and has more displacement. You learn to appreciate torque when constantly driving up hills and mountain passes.

As for me, Prelude 4gen has great body design, like a nice girl! I love it!

What did you just say to me?
I have an integra and a civic.
Do you have a h23a with those listed modifications in your car? I agree the 4th gen has a great body style.

That's great, now you have two hoopties. Moving up in the world. This is a prelude forum, scram.

I've already got used H23A with low mileage (17k miles, can you believe it?), now I'm waiting for a good deal on japan car auction to get body, suspension and clutch donor for my lude. Will take a vacation in winter to put everything together.
Nice that's pretty low mileage. I'd still do a leak down and compression test just to be on the safe side.
Tie you up and drag you behind a truck, now that would be a good hazing for you.
