Yes they can be "backed up". Just have to put your phone on speaker and have fun with your XBOX. So, what did they say? Like I mention before, it is practical to source a P30 ecu. Look to spend around $200. There's a dude selling his for $500 at the Norcal Marketplace. If you think it's worth it. I'm not advertising for him. I just think he's a b*tch for doing that.

Hey thanks for putting up with my **** and finally I've decided to go k-series. I know what's involved and what I need and the costs. thanks to k20.org I've found out the info I need. So next week I'm picking up the motor and some parts. Pretty soon I'll post up a build thread and a write up w/pics of how to BAR it. So yeah, thanks again!

Not 100% sure but couldn't you run 96-98 ex engine harness with stock 96-98 dx cabin harness and just use a obd2a to obd2b jumper harness to hookup the 99-00 si ecu. Well this work? Anybody know??

if u keep ur sock dx radiator then
94-01 gsr for lower radiator hose
94-97 del sol for upper hose

its much easier and cheaper to add vtec to your harness trust me it wasnt worth the 200+ dollars for the ex wiring harness just because it has an extra two plugs

Just keep the ecu obd2a with either a 96-98 gsr ecu or a 96-98 p30 del sol ecu. Add vtec to your wiring harness.

I dont know if you have found a harness but I have a obda2 harness that came off a b18c forsale. So all you would need is a ecu adaptor and you can use your si ecu.

That will cause Check engine lights, which is a automatic fail.

Can always get a p28 for like 100 or cheaper and get the basemap changed to a p30 works fine!
