Best write-up I've ever seen. This is what I followed back in '07. Dunno why this hasn't been sticky'd yet.
of course his damn ecu was plug in and go lol... can someone explain how to go from obd2b to an obd1... cause thats what ill prolly do :/

that's what I used, except bought it from skunk 2. have fun
well ive talked to a couple people and thats what im doin... a p28 ecu and obd2b to obd1 swap... my main concern now is the ivac on an obd2b, like how to rewire it, and its if an hx needs to... but besides that, i hope its as easy as it sounds... ive already got my old ecu out of place on the floorboard so all i gotta do is unplug it and switch it... im payin for my turbo and gettin it piece by piece and the blow off valve was the first and its the hks version
well i learned one thing.... the oil pressure sensor isnt a 21mm... its a 24mm from another sit a read at..... and i tried a 21mm and wouldnt come off.. and of course its christmas and cant get another socket
great info this is only my first week into turbo exploring... what about the internals?... porting low comp pistons. uk any of that needed?
Do more research. It's not a simple question to ask. Certain engines are safe up to a certain point without internal modification.
Definitely worth the bump :D
However the pics seem to be offline, they are kinda essential for the write up.
So if anyone could please? Thanks ^^

Bandwidth is exceeded for the pics, that's all. Pics will be up after a while. I used to have this mirrored on my site but got hacked.
It'd be a shame to lose a guide like this.
same here on hosting. detailed easy to follow write ups can get posted on www.turboinstall.net there's a really good article on swapping your drive axles posted here http://www.turboinstall.net/general-...a/drive-axles/, my own turbo build will be done by the end of summer as well as a clutch how to.
Quick and dirty until I can fix it up.
