ok so im continuing my problem from the other guys thread bc he obviously didnt want me there... -__-
but anyways my car is throwing a code 20(ELD), it was keeping my fule filter from primeing so i replaced that along with new dizzy,cap, and rotor. new starter, semi new alt, new plugs, wires.

i've tried testing the ELD and im getting the right voltage readings, i just tried to jump start my car and the battery held charge for like literally 2 mins lol so i took it up to oreillys and gonna pick it up in an hr or so and will post results.

i guess after this if it doesnt work then im gonna try cranking the car while pulling plugs to check for spark, and if not working spraying some starter fluid in the intake to see if it works.

Try another ECU. The pinouts are different on various models of 88-91's. Chances are that the ecu has a couple different pin locations giving you this error.

 

hmm well i got the battery back and it still didnt start so i found a fuse box for $15 so im gonna check that out first and it nothing happens then...thats when ill look at the ecu and my harness

 

so i got a new fuse box. and its still not starting.... no more codes. it just sits cranks but never turns over and backfires
