First, thanks to everyone for participating, and congratulations to the winner, powerneedy!
We’d like to explain briefly how we arrived at our decision. The criteria were pretty simple: Look for the car with the most well-rounded list of modifications that appears as though it could actually benefit from the parts we’d be giving away. We also asked for quality photos to help make our decision easier and the answers to a few trivia questions just to make sure the potential winner was somewhat familiar with Skunk2.
The decision was tough, but powerneedy’s Integra proved to be the combination we were looking for: excellent attention to all aspects of the car, quality parts used throughout, a need for the parts we’re offering, and photos good enough that helped us make our decision.
Thanks again to all who participated and to Honda-Tech for hosting this!

congratz! very nice competition car, but as expected, someone who could pay for the parts got them. shouldve gone to someone who couldnt afford them but needed parts for a rebuild or something.

your right he surely car "use" all the parts parts but so can every car... but does he REALLY NEED all the engine upgrades... come on

car is rad, looks like the owner is actually going to put the car to use, not simply hard park it... from the looks of his build thread he has worked really hard on his car. Seems like no good gesture can be done by the folks at Skunk2... no matter who they decided to give the parts to the cry babies would have no choice but to post something hateful...

Congrats winner. As for the contest I thought it was setup for cars that needed the parts or could use them. Well if there is a next contest Skunk2 could you do it for the cars that need those parts or put a limit stock cars or close to stock. chances are if a person like that wins you guys win customers too.

so you're not happy about a company trying to make a nice gesture and giving back? In the original thread it states that the give-away was a partnership with Honda-Tech and Skunk2... which means you should be upset with Honda-Tech also... hell, maybe there won't be anymore promotions since this one seems to have gone so sour... seems like no matter the choice was people would be upset.

congrats, to the winner, sick car. and props to skunk2 for giving people a chance to win some free product. i entered then withdrew from the comp since i didnt really need the part. it would have been nice to have but i thought id give people a better chance that needed it.

maybe someday ill have enough money to make skunk appreciate my car, this is similar to "it takes money to make money" already has the money to rep skunk 2 so he must need more of there parts!! i cant even afford one of their intake manifolds for the h22 that i desperately need, wish blox could pick up the slack and offer one
