Well i just installed an exedy stage 1 clutch on my integra.It was running fine for a few days but today when i was backing out in reverse as i pressed the brakes it locked up .But if I back up and use my E brake it wont lock up only whe going in reverse and I aplpy the brake.What could it be? I know i need new brakes but i dont think there that bad it also started raining today .Any help will be appreciated

 

Exactly what is locking up? Your post is a little vague in places.

 

How about you find a little hill and back up without any help of transmission. Hit the brakes and see if it "locks up" the same way.

 

oKAY so i rolled it down my driveway in neautral and hit the brakes and my brakes locked up .Im glad its not the tranny but wats causing this

 

So your brakes are getting jammed somehow. Lose pads maybe? Since it never happens with an E-brake, then you can eliminate the rear side. Check your front pads, something is wrong there. Good luck

 

when my brakes kept locking up it was because of the brake master cylinder. i would get it checked out.
