AEM kit, Endyn M62 blower kit, D16 motor, 22 psi of boost, AEM turns on the injection at about 3 psi, and maxes it out at around 12 psi. 550 ml (cc) nozzle. I'm up to 18 degrees of advance from about 15 psi on up to 22 psi. No knock. I've hit those numbers a bazillion times. In the lower gears it keeps the temps under 150 degrees. In the higher gears it gets up to about 185-190. Without the injection, I was almost instantly hitting 250 degrees plus.

I'm injecting into the intake arm, about 10-12" from the blower inlet. With the way my blower kit is made, that's between the TB and the blower.

I posted this somewhere else and some of the members suggest I posted it here. So here we go: I have a jackson racing supercharger on my 93 honda civic. d16z6 motor. The alternator belt is constantly shredding on one side. Someone told me it was because of the bad bearings in the supercharger could this be the case? The guy wanted to buy the supercharger from me so I wasn't sure what he was saying was true because he was trying to trade me a skunk2 intake manifold for it. This is really frustrating and I can not find an answer anywhere! And if the bearings are bad how much of a process is that to fix?

Sig still says 12.3 from two years ago when it was near the same set up but N/A and 12:1 comp with BCS 4 cams and actually right before i did the supercharger i pulled a 12.2 n/a lol. With the hondata the 11:1 compression wasn't an issue at all. The motor actually was built by me around 4 years ago and was only meant to be a temporary budget build for me blue 95 ej1 and for some reason it just liked making power so i kinda just kept improving from the original rebuild. I ended up getting a best time of 12.95 in the coupe before i wrecked it... lucky not a single thing was damaged in the engine bay from the crash so i was able to transplant it into the 89 hf. shortly after i put the swap into the EF and had it running around a cam shaft broke in 3 different places so at that point i decided to do a few things to up the compression and then go with a little bit bigger cams and made 210whp. I had the JRSC in a box sitting in my room for a while before i even wrecked the coupe so i decided it was time to do another "bolt on" lol. I pulled the head and went with a .045 head gasket and changed the cams to the GSR/ITR combo and got it on the dyno and got her tuned. Im very happy with how the car has turned out so far givin the motor has been daily driven for nearly 4 years and still has all cast internals haha

I don't think its your bearings. You got to look down the charger pulley right down to the alternator pulley. This part of the belt is important if its of a couple millimeters your going to have probs.
The three D-series blowers I have had all had alinment issues, all of these issues were best taken car of when the motor is out of the cars. Maybe if possible try to get a straight edge in there to check it out. Almost all the time the altanator has to be filled down were it mounts. Make sure you take youe time cause if you file is of a few degrees your going to be off.

Changing nose bearings is very easy job but I dont think this is your problem.

How do you guys manage to tighten the belts to get above 8psi? What belts do you guys use and where to get them?

I can't seem to get my belts on any tighter, and I'm having a hard time getting pass 6psi, even after having broken a few adjustment bolts for the tensioners.

B18C with LS crank and 3.8 nose pulley here. Blower recently overhauled and ported also. No vacuum leaks.

Gates or Goodyear Gatorback belts.

Step up to a larger 2.5" idler pulley.

Use lock-tight on the blower tightener threads.

If your tensioners are maxed your belts could be 1 size too big.

are u sure the belt tension is the prob? seems to me if you're breaking tensioner bolts they should be plenty tight...

here's a stupid question but are you tensioning the crank to alt belt equally? Mine kept slipping and it turned out it was the crank to alt not the alt to blower belt like I thought

who did the blower work? if it was ported too far it wont make any boost

so i got my chipburner in today, tried to modify the basemap xencron gave me, wasnt getting the results i wanted, too rich, timing was just too retarded, and the idle was bad, whatever it was set to when you went wot from a stop the car would just stall. So i stole a basemap file from xenocrons depository of basemaps from a turbo civic with a similar setup, turbo, 7psi, 390 injectors, made some modifications to that to match my setup, burned it, went for a test ride. Lit the tires up all through first gear. FINALLY got a tune that works good.

also got a kiddracing RMF narrow replica header coming, if i can get this emanage ultimate and plug and play harness sold this month im gona get the rest of the parts i need to bolt that up, should be anywhere from a 10-20hp gain im estimating based on all the other dynos ive seen.

How much boost are you running? What fuel? That's a lot of timing for a JRSC.

Hey.. I have a JRSC that I am gong to eventually put on my civic with a B18C1 engine. I've been trying to get all the other stuff together before I do the install so I can have it tuned once and be done with it. My question is, what would be the best throttle body to run? Or are most of the 70mm's going to perform the same?
And what spark plugs should I run? I'm going to be running 8psi.

And, does anyone have a LHT manifold they want to sell me??????
