This setup belongs to Daniel of Greenville who brought over his car for an E85 tune this morning on Crome Gold.

92 VX gutted hatch

20 over stock sleeves
20 over SRP 9:1 Pistons
JE rings
Eagle rods
King bearings
OEM Z6 metal tri-layer HG
ARP head studs
Comp Cams 59300
Comp Cams springs
S2 retainers
Supertech valves (not OS)
OEM keepers
Aerospeed cam gear

Walbro HP 255
AEM FPR (Base Fuel Pressure set at 60psi)
Precision 1000cc injectors
OEM Resistor Box

Nice! 25psi is somewhat the median for E85 to appreciate good power for the parts the motor has.goodluck!

good power do you go threw e85 faster then say 92 pump or race gas i was thinkin about doing a e85 tune but not really looked in to it much an my car is a dd

You will use 30-35% more fuel over 93 octane. However, since it's cheaper than 87 octane, it usually turns out to be the same as 93 octane (price wise) when you take everything into account.

priced the same as 93...after the incr. volume requirement....but never 93 oct..in detonation resistance.
