if you have a 4in pulley on the blower and find a b20 crank pulley you should be around 10 psi.

Looking good man. I got my stock b16 manifold all cut open and sort of doing the same thing. Got more pics?

1/14 hmm... really thinking about sell the supercharger right now and going turbo. I havent even got the car tuned on 10psi yet. And i already am looking for turbo setups. But i cant buy any till this sells.

1/20 who wants to buy my JRSC for a GSR? Chipped B20 crank pulley too.

1/21 you could buy mine and then get a manifold from moss and sell the GSR manifold to someone.

1/24 Anyone looking for a GSR JRSC?

Just curious, ive heard of people having hot start issue with hondata s200, and i think ive become one of them. Im running a ls/vtec gsr head jrsc aem water injection tuned by db in MN car made 276whp/206ft-lbs.. eveything is working running great maintenance is good plugs/fuel/timing, and about 3 weeks after getting the car off the dyno its started to give me some hot start problems. Will fire up everytime cold never a problem, but if i drive it and try and start it within 20 min of shutting it down its will crank and crank, sometimes fire but stall, seems like it might be flooding, has anyone experienced a similar problem with jrsc setup and s200 ?? Any ideas would be great, thanks

kardal86,

Before I'd suspect anything to do with the JRSC, I'd re-solder all the connections in your main relay.

speaking of itr trans, whats everyone running for gearing? I was planning on running gsr next time around, figured the new power/broader powerband would be too much for my itr trans but maybe not...? Its pretty well matched with my current b16/7psi setup but I dunno about on a 2.0L sleeved/forged gsr on ~12psi & intercooled. Maybe itr gears & ls final?

after some number crunching i may keep the JRSC. Will be cheaper and easier to hit my goal of 230-260whp. just need to fix my oil leaks, get new belts, put on the b20 crank pulley, and install my FPR, P2R fuel rail, and RC 550s.

guys, if I were shooting for around 300whp, a stock ls bottom end would handle it right? I would probably do arp rod bolts, but stock spec otherwise

for reference i'm thinking something like 10-10.5:1ish ls/gsr @~10-11psi on a ported blower, ported head, lht setup, 70mm tb, and undoubtedly other mods down the road

I was planning on going forged internals but the more I think about it it's probably not necessary...?

I intend to run an ITR & LS hybrid trans. I ran a USDM ITR trans and it was fairly useless in 1st and most of 2nd with my old 1.8 setup.

The trans I'm collecting parts for will have B16 1st, 2nd and 3rd to keep the ratios tight for acceleration and an LS 5th for highway, since I can redline 5th gear now. I want to use a GSR 4th to keep the gap from B16 3rd to LS 5th tight. I need to assemble all these gears on an LS final drive & LSD which will handicap 1st gear just enough to make it streetable with a 2.0 JRSC.

I just need to find a B16/LS Quaiffe and a bearing/seal rebuild kit so I can start the assembly.

either kit *should* work, the manifold is the same for both as is the head. I would definitely not run a jrsc on stock pct pistons tho, even intercooled. Consider swapping to lower comp slugs like gsr spec. Also I'm not sure if the tensioner assembly is the same for both kits off the top of my head, but if they are different then you might want to go with the b18 kit just because they both share the same block height.
