***The Official JRSC Thread***
Hey guys im new to the JRSC
My setup
jdm gsr completely stock
hondata intake gasket
6 psi
4-1 dc header
no cat, (test pipe)
2 1/4 exhaust
flow master 40 series muffler
dsm 450 injectors
colder plugs
stage 4 clutch master 4 puck
fidanza flywheel
on crome
Want to up the boost, does pulley boys pulleys work on a gsr? they are wider.
and what kinda 1/4 mile can i expect with 10psi

Looking good man. I got my stock b16 manifold all cut open and sort of doing the same thing. Got more pics?
1/14 hmm... really thinking about sell the supercharger right now and going turbo. I havent even got the car tuned on 10psi yet. And i already am looking for turbo setups. But i cant buy any till this sells.
1/20 who wants to buy my JRSC for a GSR? Chipped B20 crank pulley too.
1/21 you could buy mine and then get a manifold from moss and sell the GSR manifold to someone.
1/24 Anyone looking for a GSR JRSC?
2/03 who wants to buy my jrsc its for a gsr and will come with b20 crank pulley. Looking for around 1200, but im open to offers.
Please start a for sale thread, you've tried 5 times in 2 weeks to sell your JRSC in this thread.

Hey 20_sec.hatch can you move the camera over to the left and take a pic of the top of the motor like say hold the camera up 6" off the valve cover and take a pic of the snout pulley to brake master clearence for me ???
Just curious, ive heard of people having hot start issue with hondata s200, and i think ive become one of them. Im running a ls/vtec gsr head jrsc aem water injection tuned by db in MN car made 276whp/206ft-lbs.. eveything is working running great maintenance is good plugs/fuel/timing, and about 3 weeks after getting the car off the dyno its started to give me some hot start problems. Will fire up everytime cold never a problem, but if i drive it and try and start it within 20 min of shutting it down its will crank and crank, sometimes fire but stall, seems like it might be flooding, has anyone experienced a similar problem with jrsc setup and s200 ?? Any ideas would be great, thanks
My first love and my daily driver.
My EF 91 Hatch
SOHC ZC Bottom end.
Built head. 1mm Oversized valves.
Unknown brand level 2 cam.
Full MSD
3.4 blower pulley, Fully ported JRSC (blower & inlet) 12psi
4-1 header w/custom 2.5 in collector
ebay cat-back w/true highflow cat
tuned on uberdata, no dyno #'s yet
And my baby, my 95SC. Not JRSC, but it still blows.
I can't help my love of blower whine.

Above is a jig so the manifold can be copied

So hopfully this will tested soon and maybe we can get some intrest from the sohc boys

I just did but i sold the motor without the jrsc after a month, setup made 230hp and 160tq at churches was a real fun motor, i was gonna build a built motor but i might use the jrsc on a brand new itr motor i might get,im gonna use gsr /itr cams and lht manifold w/race heat exchanger 70mmtb and bc race header should be fun boosting on my brand new itr trans!
stock jrsc w/5psi
gsr head no port!
suppertech high comp valves
sk2 valve springs and ret.
sk2 pro 1 cams
rc 440cc
walbro pump
comptech ice box
jdm itr header
buddy club spec 3 catback
gsr block w/usdm itr pistons comp aprox-11:5
rebuilt bottom end
M-factory gsr race trans. 4.9 fd m-f 3.07 first gear quaife lsd ect.
hondata s100

speaking of itr trans, whats everyone running for gearing? I was planning on running gsr next time around, figured the new power/broader powerband would be too much for my itr trans but maybe not...? Its pretty well matched with my current b16/7psi setup but I dunno about on a 2.0L sleeved/forged gsr on ~12psi & intercooled. Maybe itr gears & ls final?
after some number crunching i may keep the JRSC. Will be cheaper and easier to hit my goal of 230-260whp. just need to fix my oil leaks, get new belts, put on the b20 crank pulley, and install my FPR, P2R fuel rail, and RC 550s.

no Hondata though, i'm using a Zdyne SECU
guys, if I were shooting for around 300whp, a stock ls bottom end would handle it right? I would probably do arp rod bolts, but stock spec otherwise
for reference i'm thinking something like 10-10.5:1ish ls/gsr @~10-11psi on a ported blower, ported head, lht setup, 70mm tb, and undoubtedly other mods down the road
I was planning on going forged internals but the more I think about it it's probably not necessary...?

The trans I'm collecting parts for will have B16 1st, 2nd and 3rd to keep the ratios tight for acceleration and an LS 5th for highway, since I can redline 5th gear now. I want to use a GSR 4th to keep the gap from B16 3rd to LS 5th tight. I need to assemble all these gears on an LS final drive & LSD which will handicap 1st gear just enough to make it streetable with a 2.0 JRSC.
I just need to find a B16/LS Quaiffe and a bearing/seal rebuild kit so I can start the assembly.
ok guys i need help will a b16a supercharger kit or a b18c supercharger kit work for the b16b?
actually will any of the jackson racing superchargers work with stock internals? or do you have to change them later?

either kit *should* work, the manifold is the same for both as is the head. I would definitely not run a jrsc on stock pct pistons tho, even intercooled. Consider swapping to lower comp slugs like gsr spec. Also I'm not sure if the tensioner assembly is the same for both kits off the top of my head, but if they are different then you might want to go with the b18 kit just because they both share the same block height.
