Agreed. Though many people bash it for not being the "right" way.... I've owned a car with cut springs. The ride was like stock height, but looked 100x better for free =D

But then I grew up and bought some real suspension.

 

You could take a sledge hammer to it and take out your frustrations while adding "flair" to your car as well. It will get plenty of attention and make you feel better at the same time. Win - win situation and it is free minus the cost of the sledge.

 

lets just say if you want it done the right way and reliable way there is no cheap way.

cut off about 6 coils from your springs.

 

flux capacitor.

 

semi flat wipers!
and keep you car clean.

 

im kinda bored so...

despite what some of the haters on this site will tell you. cutting a coil or 2 from your springs will lower it a bit without sacrificing too much ride quality

or look on ebay for some cheap coilovers or lowering springs

clay bar and wax.

remove intake resonator(not so much for looks but helps the flow of your intake)

or grab some spare materials and make your own intake(iv seen it done it looks pretty nice)

go to the junkyard and look for:

-decent set of wheels from a VW or somthing that are the same lug pattern as your car. (the other day i found a set of bbs meshies for $80 with decent tires)
-shift *****
-spare valve covers
-a lot of stuff from the 92-95 civics will work with your car
-side markers

install brighter cluster lights

paint or polish your stock muffler

paint or polish your valve cover and header heat shield.

convert your high beams into driving lights

open up your headlights and paint the housing black like the jdm integra type R's(just be patient cuz this one is easy to fukc up on)

theres a lot of crap you can do for free or really cheap, just dont expect too much

 

Sugar in the gas tank next time you gas up bro. Like you will gain vtec on top of vtec. Plus it smells like grandma's cookies.

I was having a discussion with someone the other day about the great priveledges about owning a civic. You could buy good used/new parts for CHEAP. If you can't hook up a civic, then you shouldn't own one. (not taking a shot at you, just stating the obvious). You could check the buy/sell forums and you could find almost everything for your car for a fair price. Good luck to you man.

 

dmpd ef made a great post. All of those things he listed would be free or very cheap. All would be needed is some time and elbow grease.

 

1. Wash your Car
2. Grab a tripod and camera.
3. Find a parking space.
4. Reverse into your choosen parking space.

umm maybe you can add some nice oem wheels...like si and blades and even ls meshes....they usually make the car looks nice

 

i say just clean the **** out of it lol not much you can do i keep my car spotless even in winter
