BKR7E-11 vs. BKR7E turbo

BKR7E-11 vs. BKR7E turbo
I was online about to order some plugs for my boosted ls and I came across two different BKR7E-11 for 01 GSR and then I scrolled down and saw Audi S6 has BKR7E turbo spec. This is on horsepowerfreaks.com. Anyone know if I should get the Audi ones instead??? I know -11 stands for the pre grap spec I believe. Chime in please.

The -11 is pre-gapped to .044".The other is standard gap (.032" ish).You will probably want to tighten the gap up so I would go with the BKR7E.

If you're going to gap them anyway(which you should do, even if you're going to run the pre-gapped spec, since the gaps can close from shaking aorund in the box), then it doesn't really matter which one you get since they're essentially the same plug.

There nice but way to expensive. No reason to spend 45 bucks on spark plugs. 1.98 a pop for BKR7E gets the job done just fine. Like everyone else is saying your going to need to gap them reguardless so get the bkr7e start at .028 and work your way down if even nessesary

The reason people want iridium and what not is because they don't foul/go bad from normal combustion, meaning they're still nearly full-potential after 40k miles. Normal copper is better for high HP because its a bit more conductive than a lot of the rare metals, but is eaten away much faster.
We generally run our cars far richer than those expensive plugs like anyways, plus our plugs are so easy to change, its almost pointless to run them.

i run the irridiums because ngk's 8 heat range race plugs are non-resistor..the irridium 8's have resistors.
