JDM Fog lights/EL cluster dash harness
I have a 93 lude so my connector for the fog light switch is behind the tweeter cover. That being said, what would be easier for me to do. Stick with the same dash harness i have right now and wire up the el gauge cluster or get the 94-96 dash harness that doesn't have the fog connector on it and wire up the fog light switch?
i was in the same exact situation and decided to stick w/ the stock dash harness and wire up the el gauge cluster. the wiring conversion wasn't even difficult; took about 2 hours to re-wire the harness and install the new gauges. also, i found it difficult to find a 94-96 el gauge cluster harness anywhere so i just worked with what i got and it turned out well.

Are you the one i was talking to about wiring the el cluster and you said you are having problems with it? Can't control dimmer and trip meter resets...?
Oh, and that dash harness i showed a pic of in my other post...I found out it is an el gauge cluster harness and i got it for $35 shipped off ebay

i just fixed this problem yesterday after not having working fogs for like 2 months.
i used the EL harness and sacrificed my fogs for a lil while for easy install of the cluster lol.
yesterday me and a buddy finally had time to work on it and heres what we did:
look under the dash for your foglight relay. cut the blue/red wire and the red/green wire (i think all the others are red/yellow IIRC). add some wire to those to wires to get to the switch. then, if you're looking at the switch from the front, i think its the two pins farthest to the right. butt connector your new wires to the old ones (if you saved your plug from your old harness like i did) and the fogs should work.
