Has it ever moved? Did you remove the dust rings?

I always remove them. And I've never been curious enough to see what happens if you don't remove them. So I can only speculate that that would be your problem.

k ill try that tomorrow if anyone else has any ideas let me know. the axles would sping freely before i put the car down so maybe that is it. I spun them around a few times before i put them in the spindles this is weird.

I suspect that the 94 teg axles are too long and are binding. I had both of my dust seals in on my hatch(89' b18b, 90-93 axles-I shaft) w/ no problems. I have removed them since replacing the axles and there has been no difference.

What are these dust sheilds? I havent heard much of them. I have a 89 CRX Si with DA Front Knuckles also Im running 97 GSR AXLES and INTERMEDIAT Shaft with a hydro gsr tranny. I have yet to put my axles in.

Just want to see what these shields are so I can remove them.. SO I dont encounter this same problem if thats what it is.

I'm running 94+ axles in my CRX and have no binding problems. I have a cable GSR tranny and the only problem is with the axle seal on the tranny.

The knuckle ring is the item in question.

Yep, It feels like trying to go from a dead stop in 2nd gear w/ the E-brake up . In other words, it doesn't want to go anywhere!

Yep, Maybe. Remember when I borrowed one of your alxes and said it was too long? That 1 inch may be the difference. I wonder what the difference in the I-shafts is?(length wise)

If it still binds a little with the ring removed, next is to remove the dust shield on the tip of the axle.
Ryan

PS, my site has pics in the b16 how too

woops, I guess I dont have a pic on there... its the rubber outside of the axle(the surface that comes in contact with the knuckle ring) You may or may not have to remove this...I did with my 90-91 axles.
