one thing i've learned from personal experiance.

never buy turbo, built engine, tranny from anyone unless you have the means or assurance you will be able to get your money back.

secondly, once you buy, install it right away.
this will void any argument that you some how abused the **** out of it and cause any further damage that want it was orginally in.

I tell people whom i sell anything electronic (ecu, dist, sensors, gauges, starter, alternators), and mechanical parts (head, crank, turbos) that they should plan on install within same week of purchase, if they don't then they are buying out of good faith from me as a seller..... cause honestly the last thing i want is someone coming back to me 2-3 weeks later about a part i sold them.

I know your a good guy but I'm just sharing you my experiance.
Some other dood made a thread that he too bought a messed up tranny.

I hope other learn from this.
I hope your able to get your money back pal. I know your a good guy & not out to rip anyone off.

Cheers - Charlie Moua

Lee lives up the road from me and he sells a lot of cars and parts. This is the first negative feedback I have heard about him.

its supposedly a edm itr E3D 4.7 fd tranny.

i do understand the install right away thing but i was busy and couldnt install for like 2 weeks after i got it. as soon as i install it and took it for a spin, i let him know right after that the tranny made noises. but he didnt care and gave me some BS excuse. but like i said i have already chalked this as a loss, im just posting this to let the honda community know that this guy is a shady person and hopefully he doesnt rip off anyone else. but looks like im too late cause theres a few people already been scammed by this low life

I think you are the 3rd person I have seen get scammed by him, and just in our area. The other 2 were scammed through ebay though.
I hope that you were able to get the tranny working for you.

Damn I hate reading stuff like this. It's what this forum is usually known for though and why I don't come on here too often.

So do you think he knew it was blown up or maybe he got it from a junkyard and never knew the condition and lied hoping everything would be fine?

I wish I had been made aware of this thread before now.

On Sept. 6, 3 weeks after you received the trans, I got my first PM saying you had an issue with 5th gear whining and asking why it had been opened before. I replied back on the 7th saying that I never had any issues with the trans and that the previous owner (who built the car) must have opened it so I couldn't tell you why it was opened. At that point you didn't ask for any kind of a refund, didn't say "hey I'm going to take it to a shop if there is an issue will you take care of it?" At that point I would have been more than happy to take it back. The next PM I received was on the Sept. 25 saying you had a shop inspect it and that it needed new bearings. At that point that obviously doesn't give me the option of getting the trans back and sending you a full refund.

Now, I should have responded better to the situation but having someone demand I send them their money back for a trans that had been opened up and accuse me of being a scammer over and over didn't really make me want to take your word that the trans had issues, after talking with a few others that have been on ht longer than I have they have all pretty much said you aren't the kind of person that would damage a trans and try to pin it on the buyer. So you have PM.

Sorry that it took so long,
Lee

I rarely sell car parts on ebay, so I would LOVE to hear who I "scammed", my ebay feedback speaks for itself.

I'd be happy to discuss any issues your friend has with me right here in this thread. Feel free to have them get on here.

The trans came in a car that I bought, drove and later parted out, had I known the trans had an issue I clearly wouldn't have sold it as the mint trans I had represented it to be.
