Wow, I bought an aebs sleeved b18c1 block from Dave about two weeks ago......

I seen these good reviews on here and thought I shouldn't have any worries. I asked him if there was anything at all wrong with the block and he said nothing at all. I asked why did he pull it n he said just because.. We agreed that MAYBE at most it would need bearings and rings just to be safe since its been out for over 2+ years. So that's fine, I met up with him at some store outlet, smh, n checked it out. Asked him all the questions again m he gave the same answers. Had a 19 and the crank spun easily.. I said cool man n took it.

Bought rings, bearings, and rod bolts to refreshing this block. Well im tearing it down and first noticed the pitch black oil with little shavings. Smhh smhh , the I remove the caps and notice alllll the bearings are **** (no biggie, but you can obviously see that it spun a bearing Noticably BAD enough to damage even the crank, and caused the piston to scarr the wall on cyl #3.. This is a blown motor!! Not a block that's ready to run.. It needs a complete overhaul!

I told em all this and he is taking forever to respond, saying he's working and at school but how long will I have to wait? He DID only offer A freshly micro polished crank, bearings, and oh yea the oil squirter on cyl#3 was torn off SMH so that too, Cummon Dave!?

I told em just give me my money back because the block was not as described and he basically said 'all sales final, you seen it bla bla ****. He said I could've took it apart.... Wait but why didn't you offer this before?

I just came back from the shop an my machinist laughed at the middle main bearing journal on the crank, and he said cyl#3 definitely will need a rebore, which leads to new pistons, rings, o-ring.. That's like 7-900+ extra on parts wtf. We agreed it was ready to run, but at most, bearings n rings.. I'm pissed!

I want a full refund Dave and I hope you just take my mistake of buying from this dood as a lesson! I gave em 1600$ cash. I want something back atleast and a crank n bearing won't do! I hope to hear from him soon!
