I figured Id give you guys some hope since all the recent lowlifes stealing peoples money. Back in august another Honda-Tech member posted if anyone knew a "Daniel Ruiz" located in Indio, CA. I happen to live in the city and knew a Daniel Ruiz. So I asked what the hell happened, basically in a nutshell, this guy listed here on H-T a ZEX kit for $500 shipped. Communication was good (as always) until after Daniel got the money. Then all communication ceased. Now the money was sent in June, and I got involved in august. Luckily, it was paid via Money Order. So we had the Post Office pull a trace on the money order to see if it was ever cashed. Lo and behold, Daniel Ruiz had cashed it at a local bank in Indio. It has his bank account and!! his driver license # with his physical address written on the Money order. Turns out this guy lives 2 freakin blocks away from me. I walk over with paperwork in hand, talk to his father since Daniel wasnt home and left my home number. The next day I get a call from Daniel, so I took down his phone number and passed it along to the victim. Then Daniels father called me to ask if this had been resolved, a good sign, so I took his number down and passed it to the victim. Ive since stepped out of it, as 3 is a crowd and I hate passing messages, especially when there is money involved. Hope this cheered you guys up. Just goes to show you wont get away, and now the victim has more than enough evidence to take Daniel Ruiz to small claims court if needed.
