JDM_EK_SIR (Jesse A Sanchez at 5804 Macaw El Paso, Tx 79924) and I arranged via pm for him to sell me a set of used OEM 99-00 hatchback taillights for $80 shipped (which he later added paypal fees too without me agreeing to). To make this thread short and to the point, the tail lights are not OEM. They also had a small chipped piece that he did not mention. I do not want them. It is not what we agreed to. I have been messaging him and I filed a paypal dispute. He has not responded in any way shape or form. At this point, I am assuming he is not planning on cooperating or even planning on saying anything. So I will take the paypal dispute further and I am creating this thread in hopes that he will cooperate and refund me so I can mail these taillights back to him.

I just checked out the tail lights since they have been at my parents' house. They are NOT OEM. You said they were new OEM and you still had the Honda box. The box does have a Honda sticker on it, but the headlights are definitely not OEM. I do not want aftermarket tail lights. I made it clear that I wanted OEM.

not knocking you or anything cause it sucks to get ripped off, but did you check to see if he had any vouches & if he had previously sold items on here before??

 

Vouches aren't really very reliable. But no, I didn't. Even if you regularly check that stuff...I think **** like this is just going to happen. It's too damn easy for scammers to do this online.

I agree that vouches dont mean anything. I've heard people getting scammed by people w/ lots of vouches. Myself have only sold a few things so I would hope no one wouldn't buy b/c of that. With the few people that I've dealt w/, I've always kept in contact and if I don't hear anything back after I send the item out I always ask if they received it. I just try to keep the customer at ease. But buying anything online is a big RISK. It just sucks that a few people have to ruin it for everyone. Hope you get this taken care of man
