Scammed
Alright well I bought a boost controller from someone online, and it ended up being a scam. I did the PayPal buyer complaint process and they found it in my favor but they were unable to recover the funds and since they do not guarantee that funds can be recovered from it and blah blah blah.
So I'm not going to be getting my money back from them. He is verified with PayPal, which means that they have his confirmed address and what not. Since I don't have his address or any info on him can I file a small claims against him? Could I somehow force PayPal to give up that information?
Any input would be great guys

You gave money to a person that you don't even know their name? address? no info? well you sir are not the smartest person. If you used a credit card to pay by pay-pal call the credit card company, they'll take care of it.

Alright so I got an e-mail back from PayPal after asking them if there is no more they can do here is what I got.
Thank you for contacting PayPal.
I apologize for your frustration in the aftermath of this regrettable
incident.
PayPal has no provision for investigating a disputed transaction after
the disposition of a Buyer Complaint.
If restitution cannot be made even after winning a claim with PayPal,
you may wish to pursue some of the following options:
1) You may take the seller to Small Claims Court.
2) You may consult local law enforcement.
3) You may file a claim with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center
(IFCC), a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation
(FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) the web site

Now that's alot of fraud contacts haha. But which ones will actually do something and help me. For some reason I don't think the FBI would be to interested in investageting a $300 online scam.

Wow that sux0rs man.. just hope stuff like that don't happen to me.. but dude how could you just pay a guy without getting his info? Maybe you figured paypal was safe enough? I dunno.. Hope you can get through into getting your money or taking the guy to court or something../
Yeah, well I've had this happen in the past a few times and every time it's happened I have been able to get my money back in full from PayPal. I don't know why this time I can't
Yeah well I at least hope that this makes everyone else a little more careful about buying stuff. Learn from my mistakes!
