Default Protecting yourself?

I'm getting ready to buy a number of things online for my Si but all these "Scammed by..." posts are really making me nervous. Is there anything I can do to protect myself? I have heard of escrow services but I dont know where to go for info on them.

Thanks in advance,
K

The best thing to do is to use PayPal and use a credit card so if anything happens, you can dispute it with PayPal and your credit card company, which will give you a better chance to be safe. Report anything immediately and do your homework on the person you want to buy from. Ask everyone and look for a vouch post. Hope this helps.
