I was looking for a set of 15x7s with or without tires for the 05 autox season for my eg. Found this deal. 15x7 42mm offset with brand new azenis. Exactly what I was looking for. Got a hold of drunknbass right away and we agreed on a price shipped to NY. I sent him the payment and the wheels arrived promptly a week or so later. This is where the problems started. When the wheels showed up they were 15x6.5 40mm offset not 15x7 42mm as advertised. Imagine my suprise. The main reason I dropped 4 digits on these wheels is because I wanted a 15x7 rim. Instead I got the rota size. I contacted drunknbass right away. He claimed he didnt know that they were 15x6.5. Whoever he bought it from told him they were 15x7s 42mm and he never checked. Swore up and down that he is an honest guy and wouldnt screw anyone over. So we went back and forth for a while on what would be the best way to resolve the situation. He was also selling seats at the time and coincidentally I was looking for a drivers seat for my eg. He was telling me that he had a seat with a small scratch on it laying around that he could hook me up with to compensate me if I payed for the shipping. The last week of december I paypaled him an additional $35 to cover the charge. Weeks went by and nothing showed up. He claimed he didnt have time to send it out. Couple more weeks went by and I was still patiently waiting. Nothing. Into february now finally I was able to catch him online and I asked what was up. I told him if he cannot ship the seat for whatever reason to paypal me back the $35 I had sent for shipping and $100 to cover what happened with the wheels. He told me he didnt have the color insert I wanted and thats why he didnt ship yet. At this point I didnt care what color the damn thing was anymore. I told him ship plain black I just want the seat already. So we agreed on that. This was at the end of february. Still nothing. Its mid march now and the guy doesnt even return my instant messages anymore. This is where we are today.
The short version:
I payed good money for a set of 15x7 42mm Racing Harts. Got 15x6.5 40mm instead. Paypaled the guy some more money to cover shipping on a slightly damaged seat he was suppoused to send out to compensate me. 3 months later I still havent received anything and the seller is ignoring my attempts to contact him.
Not only did I overpay once for the set of wheels I bought from him that were not what he advertised, he managed to sucker me into sending him even more money. I suck but not as much as drunknbass
