First Stage (26 episodes - 9CDs)
Second Stage (13 episodes - 5CDs)
Extra Stage (1 movie - 1CD)
Third Stage (1 movie - 1CD - Divx)

All subtitled in English, the dialogue is in either Japanese or Chinese. First Stage, Second Stage and the Extra Stage are VCDs, and can be viewed on computer and on some DVD players. Third stage is a Divx movie and only viewable on the computer (I included the appropriate Divx Codec to view the movie).

What is Initial D?
Some kind of a movie? or something?

 

Its anime about drift racing, I would pick this up but my computer sux.

 

I loved the whole series. It's about a teenager who drives a Trueno (Corolla) for his dad, delivering tofu. He encounters many battles (skylines, EG, sylvia, etc.). That's all I have to say. The racing parts are awesome with great CGI incorporated. The second stage, movie, and extra stage have better animation than the first stage. It is a must see. You'll be hooked.

 

you'll be hooked for sure. I know almost everything about initial d. there are many cars that race in the series, and the most of the technical talk is indeed correct. Plus, there's a cool EG6 that races downhill!

 

i don't have a DVD player, do you have them in VHS format?
