Thinkin' about pickin up a lathe and starting to make some custom shift *****. The advantages of wood are pretty good. They aren't hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and give that nice old school 70's look. I can also make them for other vehicles, I just need the proper thread pitch for the shifter. Also, they can be very light, or I can also weight them. Anyone interested? I'll make a couple first and post some pics. Like I said, this is just a feeler, so far.
