Default B17a shortblock

I am going to be rebuilding a b18c soon and using my b17a1 head. I will no longer have a need for this block.

lol, you never say it that way... lets the seller know you want it.. and tends to cause inflation on the price.. lol... my favorite tactic is.. "well.. i guess i'll take it off your hands" heh.. works pretty good.. lol... but its your buck.

I do not believe there is any damage to the block. It has almost perfect compression and turns smoothly. I do have pictures that I can email if needed.

why was the original motor pulled? the ever so famous spun bearing? what is included with the block? What are you looking to get for it shipped to say a business in Calif? do you have the serial number off the block please?

The oil pump exploded. I will replace it with one I have for a '96 GSR. I don't think the bearings are spun but I didn't want to take apart the rotating assembly since it still turns smoothly and there was no aggregious end play in the rod bearings. When I pulled the motor, I decided to do a rebuild with a b18c1 block since I got a good deal on some forged pieces for said motor. So, I am left with a spare short block.

Send me an IM "chaosisl33t"

I can do anything you folks need me to. I could remove a rod cap for instance and take a picture of the crank jornal. I could take a picture of the oil pump damage. I have pictures of the cylinder hone and the SN plate, etc. Just let me know.
