Default Would this work?

Building a three point strut brace (for the front) in the morning and instead of going with the 1in. square tubing I was going to do 3/4in. tubing.

Car is a 93 Si with the basic suspension mods. This is taking a DIY post a few weeks earlier and trying something different.

The walls of the 3/4in. seem thicker and I think it will be a little lighter also I should wind up with a little more clearence for my throttle cable fuel lines etc.

Any thoughts? Thanks as always

I don't see why it wouldn't work, but I don't see you getting much benefit from it (Civic = independent front suspension). Should be a necessity for MacPherson strut cars. There is an article floating around divulging into the physics involved in a strut brace on an M3, though remember that its a different car.

Also be aware that certain designs of bars are not allowed in some racing classes (no firewall supports in STS...I think).

A DIY bar would be pretty cool, though.
