Ive been following this section of the boards for some time now and want to ask you guys, the pros andy, rj, where to start?

I want to compete in wheel to wheel events such as NASA events etc. Im a bit limited on money like most of us here but am ready to put up whatever is needed to get the license etc. Ive done numerious HPDE's and have a thirst for competition. Where do I start? Ive read the NASA handbook and my car is nearly ready (minus the cage) but im looking for something with less rules in terms of car prep if possible. Let me know guys and gals.

Your best bet is to find someone with similar brand interests and see if they need help at the track. Go to some races and soak up as much info as you can. There's no subsitute for actually being there firsthand.
