I realize this topic has been addressed many times, but I too am looking for current info. http://www.optauto.com/ carries the 5mm H&R spacers for $55/pr. Are these the cheapest you'll find?

Anyone selling some? I need a pair of the 5mm spacers (4x100) by Sunday, June 6. Let me know. Thanks.

Would flat washers do the same job as an H&R spacer? Install a washer on a wheel stud, then install the wheel?

no (saying this with a red face)

The H&R Spacers are hub centric. Besides, flat washers do not give enough contact patch and would be very difficult to keep balanced and true..

I'm rocking 3/4 inch hubcentric wheel spacers with oem 14 inch wheels, and 5mm spacers with all other wheels..
Never had a problem with H&R

I don't have a problem with the H&R spacers, just can't find a place that has them in stock.

Duly noted on the washer issue. Thanks.
