Costco has the Arcan's in store. Currently the aluminum 2.5 ton. I personally have the 3.5 ton steel and it works great. Plus has a foam wrapped bar.

fir home use http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...ump-61253.html

those 1.5t ones scare me. they are small and tip easy when jacking in the grass at the track.

+1 don't know why the 3 ton costs less though...except for the word racing in the description and weight.

Just the difference in weight, I had the 1.5 ton blue jack. Did a brake job on my aunts CRV and it died on me right after I was done. Guess it was only meant to be used on Civics or Integras.

I was planning around 100-150 for something that isnt junk. i just do not care to buy things twice so if that means putting out more than that I am not against it. I will check out all the recommendations. Thanks

3t is steel and heavy! but it picks up my truck and my enclosed trailer and is low enough to pick up the racecar. perfect garage jack.

I have both the 1.5 ton, and the 2 ton HF aluminum jacks. I got the baby one first because it had the one wide large roller in the middle. It worked great, but it didn't get the car quite high enough for me. I was always having to put a block of wood on it. I got the 2T, which has a lower pad as it turns out, and jacks a bit higher than the 1.5 T.

So far, I am on year 2 with it, and it works great.

I use the 1.5t blue for about a year....I like it for its weight...to to heavy to be lugging around at the track and toss around

always use jack stands or blocks of wood with it...idk I don't trust harbor freight lol, even though im going on about 2 years with mine without issue.

I d plan to get the bigger one for my garage though
