what to do
i'm building a 91 hatch for autocross. i was just gonna go stock and then when i get some more money together, go to csp. a friend of mine was sayin i should to the STS thing. i did that for the last 2 years in my old car and, although it wasn't much of an autocross car, i got pritty tired of the 'racin on streets' thing.
any suggestions?

stick with stock classes.... honda's seem to be favorably classed, and the cost is less and you'll get more out of the vehicle (and the driver) this way. r-tires are a blast to run with - since you've been doing this a while its a good time to move up. Also, attend driving/autoX schools (like the evolution school) and get as much seat time as you can, and spend money on things that will really help your performance, like wheels/tires, shocks, harnesses, alignment. The winning CSP cars have between $20-$25K invested in them.

Ouch!
Is it an Si? If so, HS might be a great place to play. It certainly is cheaper! Gerry Terranova tried to sell his 89 Si hatch a couple of years ago for $1300. Nobody would buy it so he spent the "big bucks" (probably about $700) on a new engine and proceeded to win 2 national championships.
BTW, Gerry is NOT your average driver...
