Trackday Checklist
Does anyone have a comprehensive list of stuff that I should take to an HPDE? I feel like I've seen one before, but can't find it now.
[edit] I'm going to be out of town next week, so I need to go ahead and buy anything I don't have asap

what do you need the 16mm socket for?
And dont forget the tire pressure guage.
I like to bring a 22mm wrench to do toe alignments. As well as some pins and tape measure to check toe. or you can use the string method.

I put this together for a friend that went to his first track day.
Saturday morning:
- fill up gas tank (optional add fuel injector cleaner)
- wash front window
- remove floor rugs
- remove spare tire & jack
- cold tire pressures set to 38 front, 40 rear
- tape up front head lights
- torque wheels down to 80fpt
- check oil level
- check brake fluid level
- adjust seat to race driving position
Between each session
- check and record hot tire pressures
- move car to avoid flt spotting tires
- check oil level
- driver notes (such as "work on entry to turn 4.")
- re-torque wheels after a cool down period
- wash window if needed
Day is over
- remove tape from head lights
- put spare tire & jack back into car
- replace rugs
- head over to social and trade war stories

Here's the list I use. I stole it from Whitney.

It might seem like a lot but I've used everything on there at least once
Edit: I've never actually USED the fire extinguisher, but I was glad to have it handy when I knocked the car off the jack and busted the fuel filter, spilling idduno how much gas on the ground, about 20 feet from where the caterers were bar-b-q-ing

Some very complete lists already. I'd add: extra hoses and belts. Whenever I change mine I always carry to old ones as battle spares.
A coat hanger or two (can fix everything with one of these and duct tape).
Stock brake pads and extra rotors.
A breaker bar.
Extra hubs and bearings if they can easily be changed at the track.
And, as someone put it, an excellent learning attitude. All sles is useless without this.
good luck and have fun.

what do you need the 16mm socket for?
16mm nuts on the front swaybar, among other things.Joel - thanks for giving me credit for the list!
