Track car maintenance schedule

Track car maintenance schedule
Hi everyone, I've done a few track days (I think you refer to them as HPDEs) in my life and I think I've caught the "track bug" so I want to starting doing it more frequently. In order to minimize wear and tear on the vehicle I understand a stricter than usual maintenance schedule should be followed, but how strict should it be?
How often should I change the engine oil, gearbox oil, coolant, brake fluid, timing belt, etc?
Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Track car maintenance schedule
Depends...
This has been covered to death and you should do a search but....
Engine/Trans oil - Every event but I change engine/trans every other event in my rally car. YMMV
Coolant - Keep topped off
Brake Fluid - At least Bleed every event but ALWAYS add fresh fluid
Timing Belt - Regular service intervals
Any other wear and tear item you check before the event (pads, bushings, tires, etc).

Re: Track car maintenance schedule
Thanks for your reply. I did search but couldn't find anything relevant. Perhaps my Google search string was not the best ("track car maintenance site:honda-tech.com").
Bleeding brakes every event sounds like a pain. Oh well, pay to play I guess!

if bleeding is a pain you don't have the "track bug." Nothing is more painful then to start to boil brake fluid or have brake fade and spend track time doing repairs. one thing i've learned is that there is always something else you can do. Try searching with google. it is the internet and there is a lot out there. I learned alot that way and this fourm also. all suggestions are good places to start. valve lash is something i haven't seen listed. it can be as serious as you make it.
