Tire Recommendations?
I have a '96 Integra that I have taken to track events a couple of times in the past few years. I have been running on Michelin XGTV4 tires which I like a lot (except in wet conditions). I'm currently in the market for some new tires but not sure what to get this time. I plan on doing 2 road course track events next year and I want a tire that will hold up through at least 30K miles (I've gotten about 60K miles on my Michelins). I want something with similar (or better) handling charateristics to the Michelins I have now. In particular, better wet handling capabilities. I'd like to stay at or below the cost of the XGTV4's (~$130/tire).
IMO, if you do 30k miles on the street and plan to do track events, you should really consider getting another set of wheels with dedicated track tires. If budget is tight you can allways just get some steelies or stock alloys and some Azenis tires. In the end it wont really cost you that much more and you'll end up enjoying your track days a lot more.

It depends on the weight of your car as well. They might last forever on a CRX, but not on my car
