Default sway bar help

Hello HT guru's I have a 93 EG hatch that until a few day I though was an Si but learned it may have been a DX. This car is a dedicate road race track car, full cage, no interior, weight is 2325 including me, give or take a few pounds depending on the amount of fuel in the tank.

I'm mid way into the Mini / ITR front brake upgrade and this is where I learned my EG was never an Si... or so I think. Had 9.5" brakes and no sway bars. Well for the brake upgrade I needed to start with spindle/knuckles that were on a car with 10" brakes. I headed to Pick N Pull and took everything from a 2000 EX and while at it I took the control arms and front Sway bar, which measures 22mm.

My first issue is it seems this 2000 civic sway bar will not fit my 93 civic?? I need your help from you all on this issue. The width is fine, however the sway bar hits the control arm area when I try to connect the center bushing mounts Would I be better off with a smaller diameter sway bar? I'm using Fortune Auto 500 series coil overs, I think spring rates are 8k frt 10k rear.... could be 10k frt and 12k rear I don't have the build sheet with me at the moment.
thanks.

Sorry, but did you never notice the lack of sunroof?

@Feriohhh Why did you start your question with an apology? Is it because you feel the need to say you're sorry for asking a simple question in a snide fashion? If that's the case it certainly does not reflect any sorrow on your part; however it does in fact show that you are "sorry" (slang) meaning lame *** punk.

Now to answer you; yes the car does (did have) a sunroof, therefore was impossible for me to notice the lack of an existing item. I bought this car about 3 years ago, unknown history except for the previous owner bailed on the project of building a track only car after he had a really nice safety cage built and installed. Additionally the engine was a d16z6 (I swapped to a warmed up B20) the tailgate used to say Civic Si until I repainted the car. My assumption is/was that all Si Civics came stock with front and rear sway bars, my car does not have them nor are there any signs sway bars were ever installed on this car.... thus my need for help in figuring out installing a set of oem or possibly aftermarket sway bars.
Thanks

Hmmm just to start off vin numbers are good indicator of a cars authenticity.
If this is still your issue try going to a honda dealer with the vin have them check the cars history from the factory.
This is the only way to know for sure what you really have.
Rear sway bars? Not sure myself that the SI came with one.... i don't really care if it did or not. I knew what i wanted to put in my car.
What did i do to remedy mine? Install a 2000 ITR sway bar, subframe brace, and adjustable end links.
If you cant find one they might be hard to find these days there is always the aftermarket option or a GSR rear bar.
If this is an second hand project its possible you were never given all the parts.
None the less its yours to do with what you wish.
My front end has a stock sway from a EX,as well as knuckles from the same.
Brakes used to be out of a 2000 SI but now have the Mini/Legend set up.
Legend, ITR, Odyssey... same same, they'll all fit.
Try and identify all the parts you had by part number if you can. look closely and google.
You have to know where you were before you can know where you have to go.
This being a second hand project you cant be sure what the guy before you did.
Dont engage people snide remarks, it only makes you look just as dumb as they are for being a **** head anyway.
Good Luck.

With no sway bars the car handles decent but with a bit too much oversteer and mainly with the weight transfer the inside wheel unweights and spins so I'm not able to pull through and out of certain turns with maximum speed.

The OEM 2000 civic EX front sway bar is 22mm, what size rear bar would be a good match?

The '00 Civic front sway bar will not fit on your car, I dont think he rear will either.

Any '00+ Integra will have the sway bars and knuckles that you need. The GSR Integra has the same sway bars and brakes as a '00+ GS/LS Integra. The '94 to '99 GS/LS Integras has slightly smaller bars.
The only worthwhile OEM upgrade over the above mentioned sways bars would be the ITR rear sway, but for how much they go for you might as well buy an aftermaker, such as the ones made by Suspension Techniques.

@Full-Tilt. to verify you say 2000 and newer Integra sway bars/knuckles fit a 93 EG ? The knuckles I bought from a 2000 civic Ex fit properly and came with the 10" brake rotors so that allows me to install the 11" set up Mini rotors / ITR, and other models calipers. I've bolted everything up and my Konig HyperGrams clear.

Verified Full-Tilt is correct, 2000 civic ex front sway bar will not fit on a EG. Finally had a chance to get the 2000 Civic Ex knuckles installed tonight, had to replace the wheel bearings in them. There is likely a way to custom rig up center sway bar to body mounts; I don't see how that would be time or money spent though.
