Default suspension setup

I have a 91 civic Standard hatch. I got my first chance to Auto-x and I love it. I need to find a good suspension setup that I can use as well on the street as on the track. the car is my daily driver so I want a good compromise if there is such a thing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Replace all the busted *** bushings and balljoints, add a good set of shocks (Koni, IMO).

Check out http://www.redshiftmotorsports.com

Chris Shenfield has posted his 2002 national winning STS set-up

I too have a 91 Si and car and all have only 5k in the car and run against some very fast national level drivers and with a few more tweeks should be even closer.

If you are going to get a set of shocks I recomend a set of shortened Konis from Neuspeed. I had the standard length and you cant lower the car in the front enough too get the right amout stagnant neg. camber. JMO

I wouldn't change anything on your car except to make it reliable. Then maybe after two or three autocrosses, get some Falken Azensis tires, and then at the end of the year start to upgrade your car.
