Spring Rate Question
Just a brief question. I am going to order GCs 350/400s for my 5th Gen Civic. Unfortunately, they don't have the 400s in stock and suggested a 380/450 combo.
Will I notice enough of a difference between the 400s and 450s and is it enough of a difference to wait until they get the 400s in stock?
BTW, this is an autocross/streetdriven vehicle and I am concerned with the streetability of the car. Thanks.

combined with an itr rear sway would you still recommend 450 in the rear? seems like it may be a bit too tail happy.. maybe step down to a gsr sway or go with a lighter spring?
I just ordered GCs with 500f/400r. Is that good?
I plan on going with 380/400. I think that a 450 lbs rear rate is too much for normal street driving. It really depends on your tolerances and your shocks (ie. Konis vs. my Tokico HPs). Having a shock that can properly rebound/bump will make a noticable difference. Of course, I still haven't bought new tires, so what the hell do I know?

I wanted something very stiff but not too extreme. An autocrossing friend helped me with my setup. GC's 500f/400r with Koni Yellows.
My question is about shock/spring balance. Im concerned about rebound and bounciness. Im unclear about the difference of a softer or harder spring affects rebound on the same shock (Koni Yellows). Such as if Im using a stiffer spring will I get more or less rebound? Im thinking more because more weight is being supported by the springs instead of hte shock which damper rebound?
Any thoughts?
