Frank, what did you use to generate this? It's pretty cool.

very cool looking, can someone superimpose over the track? I assume that's the actual line taken, right?

Looks like it's pointing north... could just be a coincidence though.

this is the datalogger I'm going to be a dealer for shortly. i mentioned it to you guys few weeks ago. it's a very impressive setup and the cost is very low. i'll get some more nifty data this weekend at thunderhill.

the blue dot is the location of the car, and the arrows are the G force vectors (show in the playback mode).

yes the track generated is the actual line taken, thanks to GPS data.

willow springs is called the fastest track in the west. the first half of the track is very technical with nice elevation changes, the 2nd part of the track is all ***** and skills. turn 8 is one of the highest speed turn in America. i think i remember hearing this is the 2nd fastest track in US.

the map above isn't a good lap, it was sampled pretty early one, T8 should be flat out as you can see i slowed down before the entry. even underpowered the delsol should've hit 110-115 through T8. you can see i slowed to 101 from 104. that part of the track is flat, no hills, so not excuse for me slowing down there.

some people don't like datalogger because it shows everything you did right and wrong. but it's an awesome tool to help you get the most out of the car and driver. are dataloggers allowed in ECHC?
