Default SARS and VIR

I knew something was wrong when I saw Karl's name on the instructor list. SARS strikes close to home, his tow vehicle was losing coolant, so he decided to skip the school at Roebling and make the trip to VIR and infect the rest of us instead.

Exhibit A: I talk to Karl, shake his hand, and my Sentra develops 5th gear popout on the first session.

Exhibit B: Karl rides with Oscar. Oscar's car starts making a strange noise. It was last seen leaving the track on Mike Whitney's trailer.

Exhibit C: In an example of how the disease is easily transmitted, immediately after Oscar's car goes onto his trailer, Whitney breaks a wheel in the time trial.

Coincidence?? I think not!

Hum... he rode with me and my car isn't busted... maybe I'm immune nowadays? Too many previous infections?

Better get yourself checked up. You might be a latent carrier.

Glad he kept his distance from my car last weekend. Although I do need to buff out the marks left by somebody's huge magnetic numbers at about 125mph on the back straight...

I hate that. Why do groups allow magnets again?

At the risk of zinging the engine when it pops out of 5th, I've decided to put the daily driver back into action for this weekend. Karl hasn't touched that one, yet.

Matt<--will still be rolling the esses in a red SE-R, just a bit slower than normal.

Me - 20+ events with magnetics, never lost a one. Good thick German steel. Or maybe I'm not going fast enough.

I'm certainly cornering fast enough (see below). Karl, goddammit it's all your fault!!!

Yes, but it's much more fun to blame Karl.

Karl apparently left his SARS at the track.

3 R-Speed members (ITR crew from NY) went down in flames at VIR this weekend, or on the way back.

I got a ticket on the way there, Only did two laps before I almost lost a wheel, lent my car to Jon who preceded to loop it in T-1 This is after I was telling my passenger about this curse of karl on the way down there.
