well, I count two transmission issues,

and one motor which went *poof* on the highway....

unfortunately i did not know anything was wrong until 15-20 minutes of hwy driving time (no one using the radios anymore!) ...at which point we were told things were being handled...

either way, I have a stock itr flywheel, if someone needs it down there.

Otherwise good luck with the journey back up... took 10 hours 24 minutes

how do you figure its ray's fault?

I will be at VIR this coming weekend, starting Friday morning. If it can wait until then, I can bring parts from the Chicago area...

Guys, I took Marc home, everything will be straighten out soon! Both of us weren't able to drive last night, my eyes lost focus and sees double vision of everything...so was Marc, but somehow we made it home unharmed.

It was fate I guess, we were waiting for Marc at a gas stop, we saw mstewar and waved at him. He came into the station and decided to roll with us back home. And later on, mstewar became the savior of the day. Imagine we didn't wait for Marc...things would have gotten alot more troublesome.

If they allow font size edit on the , I would use font=99 on two huge thumbs up to Smitdog and mstewar!!!

They took care of us like pros!

I think at this point, Kyle and Aaron may go for the $800 tow home option, I don't think Aaron's problem can be fix on site even with Dan the Crew Cheif there...they probably dropped the tranny and inspected it already.

But if anyone, can get a hand on a clutch, please lend it to him just to make the trip back. Good will comes around!

EDIT: With my cleverness, I figured you were quoting off from Spencer's avatar? If so....hmm, yeah, that would be my fault , but that doll doesn't look young enough

another option instead of using $800 for towing
I would suggest Kyle to spend that $800 on some Toda clutch and/or flywheel and have it shipped next day to the motel.

Someone please contact Kyle and remind him this, I'm at work...also, kengs is willing to offer a Civic Si clutch but probably the best he can do is next day delivery too.

yeah, the clutch issue CAN be fixed there for much cheaper than the $800 tow home.. or get TODA (you guys love that JDM bling ).. Aarons car has far more serious problems..

I'm glad I was with you guys too! I would've felt so bad if I heard something happened to y'all in MD and we weren't there to help out.. big props to smitdog helping out as well!!

and yes, the AAA platinum rules.. that tow truck driver thinks i'm some baller that has 2 R's.. LOL

just let smitdog or I know what y'all want done with that one.. it can probably be fixed here if you wanted to..
