Default safty harness question

I was wondering where you guys were mounting your safty harness (4 point)? More specifically those without roll cages, being as I don't have one. I was thinking that the mount for the lower rear seat blet might work.

anyone, thanks,

Here is what I suggest:

http://www.racerwholesale.com/Mercha...nting+Hardware

I purchased a few eyebolts, and some snaphooks. I then took the bolts out of my factory seatbelt locations, and added the eyebolts in. Wrapped my belts around the snaphook, and Voila! Instant 5-point.

Most guys, however, suggest a harness bar, b/c it allows the belts to be perpendicular to your body (Anything less then a 90' = spinal crush in a crash). I wanted to keep my backseat, and since I don't drive w/ my 5-point on anyways, I feel that my reasoning was justified. Besides, who the hell drives daily w/ their 5point on anyways?

Umm...don't answer that question if you took your factory seatbelt out

Thanks for the reply!

I really don't plan on using these for daily use, just for autox. Im looking for something that will keep me snug in my seat and a couple of people I've talked to have said a harness is the way to go.

As for the 90 deg. angle, wouldn't mounting the harness to the upper seatbelt location achieve this, or even a rear upper strut bar?
