Yes. I use zip ties covered in duct tape.

http://www.racerpartswholesale.com

search for "cable tie", I believe the list of the individual lengths should be packs of 100. But check before ordering.

Home Depot should have the 11" ones on the rack in packs of 7 (I think). I have several packs of them and you could use the long ones and cut them off if you have to. Lowes also sells them as do a number of speed shops like Summit. Any electrical/electronic warehouse will also have them both in white and black. You need the size for a 4" diameter as that is what works with the padding.
The alternate method would be Duct tape. BTW: Remember that you need the hard foam for areas where your head could hit.

I got mine at ACE Hardware. I got a pack large enough to do two complete cages and they're $12ish. I'm not sure what length they are, but I was cutting 4-5" off the end so they're plenty big.

Spenc,

Whatever you buy, I'll go half with you. I need zipties. I can meet you on the Island one day or in the city. (I need an excuse to test the ITR...once the snow melts)

well, i went back to home depot and looked in the electrical section and bingo. all the zip ties one could ever need, including one that was about 5ft long. i picked up a pack of black 11" for $12 for 100. i think they will do the trick and i can take off the ugly white doubled up ones on there now.
dave:if u realy want to come out here or meet up somewhere, throw me a pm and well get together.

I got a 1.shitload bag of zip ties from the local True Value hardware store. YMMV.
