Default Rear disk conversion with m/c

I have searched but I seem to get 2 diff answers so I am going to asking myself! I have a 92 civic hatch cx, I just did a rear disk conversion and now I am going to upgrade the master cylinder. Can I run a m/c from a 94-01 intergra with out modding or running a new brake booster? Thanks for the help!!

no, a larger MC will not bolt up to your stock CX BB.. i know this first hand! i honestly never upgraded my prop valve, mc/bb from my DX stuff and my car stops super well, but thats the way i like it. do a bit more research and see whats going to work best for you.

1991 honda civic EX 4 door master cylinder

this is 15/16th, and the bolt alignment is right on.

Or you run the MC from a ABS equiped 92-95 civic and re-flare the lines to the bigger fitting.

You have to make sure you get the 4 door EX honda civic 1991 MC though if you don't they aren't the right ones.

Get an Integra RS master cylinder...its 15/16th, and the lines hook right up, no ABS...no re flaring bs and what not...

EDIT...you'll need an Integra brake booster for this too...

If you want to swap booster and MC your looking for a non-abs unit which will have a tag on it that will say 260v on booster, if you want more you can get the ABS unit which will say 290v on it. However you will need the back fitting and you will need to cut and re-flare you line. Not that it is any big deal.

I have 260v on my CRX, I have a buddy with the 290v on his race car.

I used a 92 integra RS master cylinder and booster and 4040 valve on my 95 coupe. works nice and bolts right up.

Junkyard = booster/master = $45
