Quick Offset question?
I did the searching, and this is why i have a question
Will my 45mm offset wheels work with my GSR 2000, droped 1.5 inches?
I do not want to mount my tires up just to find they wont work. These are my primary racing wheels but i know every know and then they will find some use for the street. Any help would be appreciated.
I did the calculations on the offset calculator, and it said
45mm offset, would be 13mm less and stick out 13mm more (weird) slight rubbing on the inside.
HOwever, i also read the offset of the GSR 00 wheels are 45mm?
help me out guys, got warm ups for the spring next weekend.

when i worked at the honda dealership, if i had someone call me about something that didn't pertain to them buying my parts, i had a very hard time being curteous, let alone actually help them. you have several problems with dealing with a dealership for anything other then buying a car/parts/or service. the first is that they are busy. very busy. the second is that they are just sales people. most dealers don't even know what a doube wishbone suspension is other then possibly knowing what kind of car is advertised as having said suspension. third, they are in the business of making money. if you aren't giving them some amount of money, they have enough business (read above about being busy) that they don't really want to waste time _not_ making money. fourth is insurance liability. they don't want to deal with a situation where they gave out information that was erroneous. i once had a lady ask me when it was legal to mount her studded snow tires. i was pretty sure i knew the answer, but i wouldn't tell her because if i was wrong i didn't want to deal with the repurcussions.
just trying to give insight to the inner workings of a dealership, not trying to bust *****.

haha thanks man...its all good
I talked to two techs personally both of them had no clue. I am a friend of the owner of the dealership, they know who i am so they give info when i need it. They just had no clue, and I was in a pissy mood b/c i had to be work at 7am on sat. so i was just ranting. Yeah i know dealerships can be furstrating at times but they are not there for anything else other than to sell you a car, parts and service that car...oh well i got the info i needed thats all that matter.
