Default Quick Bushing Question

I thought I'd post this here, cause you guys are probably more experienced with aftermarket bushings.

My question is that, energy suspension offers two types of bushings 1. Red 2. Black graphite impregnated. Now the latter sounds real fancy and I was wondering if someone could maybe explain what that means?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Sev.

In theory, the graphite is meant to provide a self lubrication property to the bushing to reduce the need to lube them and to reduce squeaking.

In reality, they're black instead of red.

Ditto.

If you're looking for a better quality bushing, look into Hardrace hardened rubber bushings instead of polyurethane. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Well I just bought polyurethane bushings from ES for my trailing arms but I will be buying the some arms from special projects quite soon.

I think this would have been a better option

Is the car going to be a DD?
