Technically, it would move you to Street Mod. If you could block it off and prove you got no benefit, your competitors might agree not to protest it and let you finish the year in GS. You should probably check with them.

Street Mod. Hoods/fenders are not allowed in CSP and ITRs are ineligible for STS.

ok then i guess that settles that. wish i had a ITR

time to order lowering springs and a K brace and get rid of all the interior. then i will need some r compounds. azenies are doing good in g stock except for the guys that have r tires and have me buy less than 2 sec. sometimes at events i even get ahead of the guys with stickies

Oh, what are you driving? The hood scoop intake will still bump you to street mod, but you might be able to do STS without it.

Interior is required for SM and K-braces are not legal (well, some are, depends on design).

i guess what i need to know is what class would a FWD V6 J-body be in with hood modifications, fully gutted interior, K-Brace, lowering springs. its 90 cavalier Z24 with a 3.1 liter V6.

Most likely it will fall into one of the Prepared classes, but I'm not sure which and I don't know the rules for these classes (they are really whacky).

If it doesn't slot into a Prep class, then off to E mod you go. Have fun chasing the tails of the Lotus clones.
