i just moved here to phoenix from the nor cal area and i just wanted to know what the autox scene is like over here and where there are any good tire retailers. my azenis are dead so ima need some new ones a-sap.

 

You can go to azsolo2.com for local autocrossing information. Check out the forum, as it usually gets a fair amount of activity. We have one event a month, with about 150 entrants per event in the fall/spring, and 90-100 in the summer. Tucson has one event a month about 90 minutes south (depending on where you are in the valley), and Sierra Vista runs once a month an additional hour south of Tucson. For the most part event dates don't conflict, so you can often run 2-3 events per month if you care to do so.
