I need to find the right motor tranny combo for my 89 h/b I've been blessed with the D series 1.5 I need to find some thing to run but still fit into SCCA Solo 2 stock classification. I want to try to incorporate the dx tranny because of the tall gears.

 

Engine swaps are not allowed in Solo 2 stock classes. Also, unless you plan on running a turbo (which I doubt wanting to stay in a stock class) you won't want the long gearing of the dx tranny.
