Mad Props to Chris B...
Yeah yeah... another H.C. post.
I'll keep it brief.
Chris Brinson ROCKS!!!
Sure, the car is fast, but he is driving the everlovin' **** out of it. Keep in mind that Chris doesn't have as much DE experience as many of us, but it really isn't mattering much. He brings a whole can of whoopass every time he bellies up to the bar.
We were relentless on each other in Sunday's race. It was insane. I was doing everything I could think of to rattle his cage and it wasn't working. I was finally able to duck inside him in turn 14 and hold on to the lead, but saying that I had to work for it doesn't even scratch the surface.
He then proceeded to crawl all up MY *** for the remainder of the race.
Good Stuff
. Hope those watching enjoyed it as much as I did.
Zsolts camera was fortunately in my car. I haven't seen the tape, but it should be pretty unreal. He should be posting some short clips here soon.
Oh yeah. Through all of that we touched each other once. And it was a minor bump draft, so it really doesn't even count.
Scott, who spent a large part of Sunday's race looking through (not around) Chris' car.

Warren's car totally went to chit on him. When I passed him in the carousel it was refusing to turn.
And Corey... Damn man. When I saw the smoke coming from under your car my heart just sunk. That is getting ridiculous.
So I took a 3rd overall, which I have to be happy with after the terrible weekend at Summit and Saturday's brake fiasco. But it was really more like 4th or 5th.
Hoping to put all that B.S. brake failure and suspension sorting crap behind me and go toe to toe with "Bump Draft Brinson" for the rest of the year
.
PS - Don't count Karl out. One good weekend and he's back in the points chase. He is certainly capable.
Scott, who realizes Karl's CMP weekend was like his Summit weekend, and feels for him.

Chris is one of those guys (much like Corey) that makes me hit my forehead with my hand repeatedly. Here's a guy who has a lot less experience than many of us, but just seems to "get it."
Nice job Chris, seriously - even with all the hateful remarks I send in your direction...
"I'm gonna have to ask you to get out of my shade"
"This Gatorade is the same color as Super Blue, I'm sure it'll work fine"

Sorry I am late reading this. I really appreciate all the compliments! I wish I had another tape for the Sunday race as I would love to have the battle between Scott and I on tape. James Evans said he got us on tape so I would really like to see that!
I have a lot still to learn about actually racing vs. lapping at speed but between battling Warren on Sat. and Scott on Sun. I am definitely getting educated (or rather schooled) so to speak. I am going to have to learn how to quit over driving my front tires and/or figure out how to threshold brake on really hot tires. I got housed by Warren and Scott under braking and could not seem to control my braking enough to get back around them late in the race after pulling even after the kink.
Thanks to everyone for welcoming new guys like myself! I really wondered at the beginning (the Feb. comp school) if I would be welcomed since everyone seemed to know one another. But at every event I have met more people and everyone has been friendly. It is also nice to see new people (to me) likes James Evans come out and immediately start hanging out in the paddock. I hope that everyone will work to make everyone feel welcome and we will ensure that this series grows and still remains as friendly as it is!
Take care,
Chris

James promised to copy the videotape and bring it to Lowes.
Zsolt has the one from my car.
And Chris, I've given it further thought and have decided that you should stay on the Kumhos. Sure, they go greasy when you overdrive them and you're killing a set every weekend, but I think they are working for you.
Yep. Kumhos. Definately stay on the Kumhos. Toyos are good too.
